The SGW series high-efficiency unsealed self-priming pump is a new generation of high-efficiency and energy-saving self-priming pump product developed by our company, and it is also an upgraded product of traditional vertical unsealed self-priming pumps. This product not only has various functional characteristics such as temperature resistance, pressure resistance, wear resistance, and "one-time drainage, lifelong self-priming" of the original vertical self-priming pump, but also has significantly improved efficiency, cavitation performance, installation and maintenance compared to traditional products. The supporting motor power is reduced by 1-2 levels compared to similar domestic vertical self-priming pumps and long shaft pumps, and the power saving rate is 15-20%.

Product design and features

By studying the overall structure of traditional unsealed self-priming pumps and combining advanced technologies such as flow field analysis and optimization design, a systematic analysis and design of hydraulic models, flow passage component structures, and secondary impeller sealing structures were carried out.

To significantly improve the efficiency of the vertical self-priming pump, CFD technology was first used to model the overall structure of the flow components of the vertical self-priming pump. The flow losses of the inlet, impeller, volute shell, vapor-liquid separation chamber, outlet, secondary impeller and various transition structures were analyzed, and the influence of various structural forms and parameters on hydraulic performance and cavitation performance was studied. Based on the analysis results, the key overcurrent component structure has been redesigned to avoid unnecessary losses, thereby significantly improving efficiency and making it have good self-priming and cavitation performance.

  1. According to the specific working conditions of each water pump (including suction height), a new design was carried out for the impeller and volute, using precision cast impellers and volutes, achieving almost the same effect as the designed hydraulic model. Efficiency has increased by about 5% -10%.

  2. A new technical design has been carried out for the structure of the flow channel and vapor-liquid separation chamber from the inlet to the outlet of the water pump, which conforms to the laws of liquid flow. On the basis of ensuring self-priming capacity, the liquid flow loss is significantly reduced and the efficiency is improved by 8-10%.

  3. We have developed a new multi-stage secondary impeller sealing structure, which reduces sealing power consumption by nearly 50% compared to traditional vertical self-priming pump sealing structures and improves sealing reliability.
